Online-Dental.uk is an authorised UK distributor of Sagemax products. We are committed to supplying genuine Sagemax products of the highest quality and will assist our customers with any product that is believed to be defective.
This warranty applies to Sagemax products purchased from Online-Dental.uk (Omnident UK Ltd) and is subject to the terms below.
1. Product Warranty
Sagemax products are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship and to conform substantially to the applicable manufacturer's product specifications when stored, handled and used correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer's Instructions for Use (IFU).
Unless a different warranty period is specified for a particular product by Sagemax, the applicable manufacturer's warranty terms will apply.
This warranty is in addition to, and does not affect, any rights or remedies available under applicable UK law.
2. Inspection on Delivery
Customers should inspect products promptly upon delivery.
Any product that appears to have been damaged in transit, supplied incorrectly or has an obvious defect should be reported to Online-Dental.uk as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.
Please retain the product, its original packaging and all relevant batch, lot and/or serial information, as these may be required when investigating a warranty claim.
3. Correct Use and Instructions for Use
Sagemax products must be stored, handled, processed and used in accordance with the applicable manufacturer's Instructions for Use, product documentation and technical specifications.
The warranty may not apply where a defect, failure or unsatisfactory result arises from circumstances including:

failure to follow the applicable Instructions for Use;

incorrect storage, handling, processing or use;
-
use of the product after its expiry date;
-
use outside the manufacturer's stated indications or specifications;
-
alteration or modification of the product;
-
use with incompatible or unsuitable equipment, materials or processes;
-
incorrect milling, sintering, crystallisation, firing or other processing parameters;
-
contamination, accidental damage, misuse or neglect; or
-
other circumstances outside the reasonable control of Sagemax or Online-Dental.uk.
4. Consumable Products and Normal Use
The warranty covers manufacturing and material defects. It does not cover normal consumption, wear and tear, accidental damage or deterioration caused by incorrect storage, handling or use.
Colour, translucency, appearance and other characteristics may be subject to normal manufacturing tolerances and must be assessed in accordance with the manufacturer's applicable specifications.
5. Making a Warranty Claim
If you believe a Sagemax product is defective, please contact Online-Dental.uk before disposing of or returning the product.
Please provide as much of the following information as possible:

your Online-Dental.uk order or invoice number;
-
product name and reference/SKU;
-
batch or lot number;
-
a description of the problem;
-
photographs of the product and packaging, where appropriate; and
-
details of how the product was stored, processed and used.
Where the issue relates to a processed restoration or material failure, we may also request further information regarding the equipment, software, processing parameters and procedures used.

Please contact us before returning any product. We will advise whether the product needs to be returned and provide the appropriate return instructions.
6. Assessment of Warranty Claims
Online-Dental.uk may need to inspect the product and/or refer the claim to Sagemax or the manufacturer for technical assessment.
Customers must provide reasonable information and cooperation required to investigate the claim. Products should not be discarded while a warranty claim is being investigated unless Online-Dental.uk confirms otherwise.
Where a valid manufacturing defect is confirmed, the remedy will be determined in accordance with the applicable manufacturer's warranty and may include, as appropriate:
-
replacement of the affected product;
-
supply of an equivalent product; or
-
refund or credit of the purchase price of the affected product.
Unless required by applicable law or expressly agreed otherwise in writing, the warranty does not cover consequential costs arising from the use of the product, including laboratory time, remakes, clinical fees, treatment costs or other indirect losses.
7. Products Manufactured by Third Parties
Where Online-Dental.uk supplies a product manufactured by a third party, any manufacturer's warranty will apply in accordance with that manufacturer's applicable warranty terms.
Online-Dental.uk will, where appropriate, assist customers in submitting and resolving legitimate warranty claims with the manufacturer.
8. Limitations
This warranty applies only to genuine products purchased directly from Online-Dental.uk and does not apply to products obtained from unauthorised or alternative sources.
Products must not be resold, exported or transferred in circumstances that breach applicable regulatory requirements, manufacturer's conditions or distribution restrictions.
Nothing in this warranty excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including any liability that cannot legally be excluded or restricted under UK law.
9. Returns
A warranty claim is separate from a standard product return.
For unwanted products, products ordered in error and other non-warranty returns, please refer to the Online-Dental.uk Returns Policy.
Please do not return a suspected defective product without first contacting us, as we may need specific information or photographs before arranging its return.
